What do you use this magnet for?

Powerful: suitable for workshops and assembly, holding tools, molds and fixtures, and heavier doors, panels and displays. How much does this magnet hold in practice?

Approx. 16 kg, pulled perpendicularly from thick, flat steel with direct contact. On thin sheet metal, through paint or with an air gap and loaded sideways, it is considerably less.

How do I get it off again?

Do not pull straight up, but slide it sideways off the steel or from another magnet. That requires much less force.

How do I attach it?

This magnet has no screw hole. Glue it with a two-component adhesive, such as UHU Plus epoxy adhesive, or clamp it in a slot or holder.

What should I pay attention to when handling?

Two of these magnets attract each other with great force and can pinch fingers or splinter them if they snap together. Work with one at a time and slide them apart sideways.
