The steel pot concentrates the magnetic force on the flat front, giving the magnet far more holding power on steel than the same magnet without a pot. Place it on a flat steel surface and attach a hook, chain or cable to the eye. The rubber coating protects the surface the magnet sits on and provides grip, so it is less likely to slide. The eye is screwed into the threaded bush; the same pot is also available as a hook magnet. Hook magnet or eye magnet?

The holding power is measured under ideal conditions on a flat steel plate; in practice, the actual holding power is lower. Read how holding power is determined.

Delivery and returns

Orders placed and paid for before 16:00 on business days are shipped the same day if in stock. Keep strong magnets away from pacemakers, electronics and bank cards. Powerful magnets can snap hard against each other or against metal; keep your fingers clear. The holding power is not a permissible working load: do not use magnets as the only fastening for lifting or suspending heavy loads where a fall could cause injury.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1007/9941/4610/files/1585e439e36a0322ab62c6da096543b8b5aaf077_a8d26bfa-c89c-4a8c-a729-2c76474966fb.jpg?v=1792078329
