Self-adhesive neodymium magnetic strip measuring 10 x 1000 mm (NdFeB), also known as magnetic tape. With a holding force of 450 g/cm², this strip is much stronger than ordinary flexible ferrite magnets, while measuring only 1.5 mm thick. The strip is flexible: cut it to the desired length and stick it to a component with the self-adhesive side.
The magnetic strip is itself magnetic and adheres to steel and other ferromagnetic materials. Stick it to a non-magnetic component, such as a panel, display, door or piece of furniture, to make that component magnetic so it can be attached magnetically. See also: all magnetic strips.
Stick the strip to a clean, dry, grease-free and smooth surface at a temperature of at least 10 °C. Press the strip firmly down along its entire length and then leave it undisturbed so that the adhesive can bond properly. This prevents air bubbles and peeling. The adhesive has a shelf life of approximately 6 months, so it is best to use the strip within that period.
Do not stick loose magnets to the strip: they can disrupt and weaken the strip's magnetization. If you want to create a surface to which loose magnets adhere, use steel tape or another ferromagnetic backing.
Neodymium is not rust-resistant. The strip is therefore intended for indoor use and is not suitable for outdoor or damp areas.
If you order more than 1 meter, you will receive one separate 1-meter roll per meter ordered.
The holding force is 450 g per cm² on flat steel. A 10 cm piece (10 cm²) therefore holds approx. 4.5 kg under ideal conditions. On thin steel, paint or an uneven surface, this is less. Need more strength? Choose the wide 20 mm strip.
With strong scissors or a sharp knife. Cut straight and leave the protective film on until you are ready to stick it.
A steel backing or steel tape. Do not use loose magnets as a counterpart: they can weaken the strip's magnetization.
No, the strip is intended for dry indoor use. Neodymium is not rust-resistant.
Yes. Volume discounts apply to multiple rolls, and we will provide a quote for a project. As a business, you can order on account with a purchase order. Business ordering.
Orders placed and paid for before 16:00 on working days are dispatched the same day if in stock. Free shipping within the Netherlands from €45. Consumers have a 30-day cooling-off period.
Magnets are not toys and should be kept out of reach of children. Keep strong magnets away from pacemakers, electronics and bank cards.
According to the data provided by the manufacturer, this product complies with the European REACH Regulation.

Neodymium magnets are very powerful and can bounce off each other and/or iron objects at high speed. The force increases as the magnet gets larger, which also increases the risk of breakage. Two of the larger magnets in our range are powerful enough to break fingers or at least cause a few large blisters.
Therefore, wear work gloves and keep magnets away from children. Also, keep Neodymium (NdFeB) magnets at a safe distance from people with pacemakers. This also applies to electronic devices and payment cards.
Neodymium magnets are still the most powerful magnets available today. Our super-strong magnets also remain magnetic virtually indefinitely, provided they are not exposed to the maximum operating temperature or are used with opposite poles.
The letters and numbers in the material coding have the following meaning: The N stands for Neodymium, the subsequent digits indicate the maximum magnetic energy expressed in MgOe. If there are no further letters after this, the magnet can be used up to 80 degrees Celsius.
If there are still letters behind it, it can reach a higher temperature.
We indicate adhesive force in grams or kilograms because this appeals to more people than Newton. The indicated force is measured perpendicular to the magnet. The adhesive force is the force required to pull a smooth, flat steel object (ST37) at least 10 millimeters thick from the magnet in question.
This force quickly diminishes when, for example, there's a gap or layer of paint between the magnet and the object. Even half a millimeter can reduce the force by half. A steel alloy or a rough surface also significantly reduces the holding force.
As mentioned, the direction of the adhesive force is perpendicular to the magnet, but the shear force is much smaller and also depends on the friction between the magnet and the object.
