What do you use this magnet for?
Suitable for cabinet doors and flaps, latches in furniture, motorhomes and caravans, and displays, exhibition stands and interior construction. For heavier doors or panels: distribute multiple magnets over the surface or choose a larger size. In jewelry, only conceal it and do not place it against the skin: the NiCuNi layer contains nickel. Is it strong enough for a cabinet door?
Yes, this is a commonly used size for cabinet doors and flaps. Combine it with a steel strike plate or a second magnet; for large doors, distribute two over the height.
What hole do I drill to install it?
A hole slightly larger than 12 mm and 6 mm deep. Secure it with a two-component adhesive, such as UHU Plus epoxy adhesive, and do not press it in forcefully: neodymium is brittle.
How do I make two magnets attract each other?
First, place them together as they should click and mark the outside with a pen. This way you build them in with the correct side facing up.
Does it work through wood or a plate?
Through a few millimeters, yes, but every millimeter requires force. Install it as close to the surface as possible.
