What do you use this magnet for?

Thin and light: suitable for displays, light flaps, model making and closures in cards and packaging. In jewelry, it should only be enclosed and not come into contact with the skin: the NiCuNi layer contains nickel. Because the magnet is thin, the force decreases quickly as soon as there is something between the magnet and the steel; for cabinet doors or heavier panels, it is better to choose a thicker size. Which disc magnet should you choose?

Convenient when using many magnets: with the magnet dispenser for 2 mm height and Ø15 mm, you can remove disc magnets one by one from the stack without getting your fingers between the magnets.

How much does this magnet hold in practice?

Approx. 2.3 kg on thick, flat steel when in direct contact. Because it is only 2 mm thick, the force drops quickly as soon as there is cardboard, fabric or an air gap in between.

Does it work through paper or cardboard?

Yes, through a few sheets of paper or thin cardboard, for example on a magnetic board or in packaging. The thicker the material, the less it holds.

How do I attach it?

Glue it with a two-component adhesive, such as UHU Plus epoxy adhesive, or choose a self-adhesive magnet if you want to stick it.

How do I easily remove them from the stack?

Slide the top one sideways off the stack, or use the magnet dispenser for Ø15 mm and 2 mm height. Do not let them snap together: they can splinter.
