What do you use this magnet for?
Suitable for cabinet doors and flaps, latches in furniture, motorhomes and caravans, and displays, exhibition stands and interior construction. For heavier doors or panels: distribute multiple magnets over the surface or choose a larger size. Which disc magnet do you choose?

How much does this magnet hold in practice?
Approx. 7.4 kg on thick, flat steel with direct contact. Through a few millimeters of wood, plastic or paint and when loaded laterally, that is considerably less.
Does it work through wood or a tabletop?
Through thin material of a few millimeters, yes, but every millimeter costs strength. Place the magnet as close as possible to the steel or the second magnet.
How do I attach it?
Glue it with a two-component adhesive, such as UHU Plus epoxy adhesive, or countersink it into a suitable hole. If you want to screw it in, choose a ring magnet with a countersunk hole.
Can I use it outside or in a damp room?
The NiCuNi coating is intended for dry indoor use. Outdoors, seal it or choose a magnet encased in epoxy or rubber.
