How dangerous is this magnet?

Very. With a holding force of approx. 176 kg, it can seriously pinch fingers or a hand if it snaps against steel or another magnet. Only suitable for experienced users; wear gloves and safety glasses.

How do I remove it from steel?

Never pull it straight up. Slide it sideways over the edge of the steel, or use a non-magnetic wedge (for example, wood or plastic) to pry it loose.

How do I store and transport it?

In the original packaging, keeping it well away from other magnets, tools, steel cabinets, and magnet-sensitive items. Never leave it loose in a toolbox.

Can I use it to lift heavy loads?

Not as the sole means of attachment. The holding force is measured under ideal conditions and is not a permitted working load. Use a certified lifting magnet for lifting.
