What do you use this magnet for?

Suitable for magnetic connections, prototypes, educational setups, and hobby projects. The spherical shape distributes magnetic force evenly; balls snap into place from any position and can form chains and figures with other balls. On a flat surface, a ball only touches the steel at a single point, so the adhesive force is lower than that of a disc of the same size. Which sphere magnet should you choose?

The adhesive force is measured under ideal conditions on a flat steel plate; in practice, the actual adhesive force is lower. Read how adhesive force is determined.

Safe use

Magnets are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of children. Keep strong magnets away from pacemakers, electronics, and bank cards. Small balls can be swallowed. If you swallow multiple magnets, they can attract each other inside the body and cause serious injury; seek medical attention immediately.
