What do you use this magnet for?

Suitable for creative and educational constructions, prototypes, model making, and magnetic connections. The spherical shape distributes magnetic force evenly; spheres click together from any position and form chains and figures with more spheres. On a flat surface, a sphere touches the steel at only one point, so the holding force is lower than that of a disc of the same size. In jewelry, only use it hidden away and not against the skin: the NiCuNi layer contains nickel. Which sphere magnet should you choose?

The holding force is measured under ideal conditions on a flat steel plate; in practice, the actual holding force is lower. Read how holding force is determined.

Safe use

Magnets are not toys and should be kept out of reach of children. Keep strong magnets away from pacemakers, electronics, and bank cards. Small spheres can be swallowed. If multiple magnets are swallowed, they can attract each other inside the body and cause serious injury; seek medical attention immediately.
