What is this magnet used for?

The rubber coating provides grip and helps prevent scratches on surfaces. Useful in workshops, for displays, and for attachment to painted or sensitive surfaces, such as in campers, caravans, and interior construction. On painted or smooth surfaces, the attachment may not hold as well as on bare steel. Which disc magnet should you choose?

The holding force is measured under ideal conditions on a flat steel plate; in practice, the actual holding force is lower. Read how holding force is determined.
